Analysis of the Image of Secretary Tang Xiaozhou in Huang Xiaoyang's Novel The Second Chief and Its Enlightenment for Secretarial Work

Abstract

The image of secretaries constitutes a crucial subject in secretarial studies. Huang Xiaoyang's The Second Chief stands as one of the most acclaimed political novels in recent years. This paper conducts a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of the representative image of Secretary Tang Xiaozhou, focusing on three dimensions: character background, personality traits, and professional competencies. Building upon this analysis, the study explores Tang Xiaozhou's professional qualities from four perspectives: ethics, psychological resilience, legal awareness, and interpersonal skills. Finally, the paper elucidates the implications of Tang Xiaozhou's character for modern secretarial work, including loyalty and confidentiality, continuous learning, strategic positioning, meticulous execution, adherence to regulations, interpersonal coordination, understanding leadership intentions, and supporting decision-making.
