In the current era where digital technology is profoundly reconstructing social cognitive paradigms and knowledge production mechanisms, cross-media communication research is facing an unprecedented historic opportunity for transformation. Cutting-edge technologies such as media convergence, algorithm-driven systems, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence are continuously reshaping the communication ecosystem, while also presenting new challenges and possibilities for traditional disciplinary systems and research methodologies.
To address this pressing issue of our times, we are proud to host the international academic symposium “Symbiosis of Virtual and Reality: Cross-Media Communication and Innovative Practices Driven by Digital Technology“ The conference will be held online on June 21, 2025. This symposium aims to establish a rigorous yet open platform for academic dialogue, systematically exploring key themes such as the evolution of media forms, the redefinition of disciplinary boundaries, the transformation of cognitive models, and the reconstruction of practical pathways within the context of digital technology.
We warmly invite young scholars and researchers from related fields, including communication studies, digital humanities, art and design, architecture and spatial studies, and social sciences, to participate and share their latest research findings. Together, we hope to foster interdisciplinary dialogue and collaborative knowledge innovation.
To participate in the symposium, please complete the registration process by scanning the QR code provided below. There are no fees associated with attendance. Additionally, we invite scholars interested in presenting their research to submit proposals for consideration.
