The change of artificial intelligence on the movie production process is mainly reflected in the pre-planning, scene design, live shooting and post editing. Artificial intelligence technology can not only optimize the film production process, reduce costs and improve quality, but also provide new creative tools for art workers and promote the film industry to intelligent transformation and upgrading. This paper adopts the case study method and literature review method, focusing on the application case of AIGC technology in film in South Korea, and discusses in depth the use of AIGC in film production, the changes to the film production process, and the social and artistic problems faced. Film production in the AI environment should focus on the subjective position of “human” in film creation, and AI should be used as a tool. This study aims to identify the trends of AI technology, gain insights into its impact on film production, reveal the factors, roots and effects of AI-driven development of the film industry, and explore new trends in the film industry. It explores the application of AIGC cutting-edge technologies and provides a new direction for the intelligent transformation and upgrading of the film industry.
2025-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/136 Exploring Antitrust Legislation for Data Rights Protection Under the Perspective of New-Quality Productivity 2025-03-02T01:51:29+00:00 Decai He
New-quality productivity is a key driver of China’s modernization and high-quality development, relying on both the activation of data as a new produc-tion factor and the support of technological innovation and fair market com-petition. However, legal shortcomings in data property rights protection and weak innovation incentives hinder the realization of data’s full value. To ad-dress this, the paper proposes a twofold strategy: first, establish a compre-hensive data property rights protection system by clarifying data ownership, usage, and management rights; second, use antitrust law to foster an inno-vationfriendly enforcement model, encouraging continuous high-quality achievements. Integrating data empowerment and innovation incentives ensures a healthy, sustainable development path for the data economy, lay-ing a solid legal and economic foundation for Chinese-style modernization.
2025-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/125 AIGC Words and the Lexical System in the Digital and Intelligent Era: From Language Shock to Language Planning 2025-02-28T11:29:43+00:00 Mingyang Shen
This study uses a corpus generated by ChatGPT to apply cognitive linguis-tics, philosophy of technology, and sociolinguistics in analyzing how genera-tive AI impacts the Chinese lexical system. Grounded in the “replication-variationselection” model of language evolution, the research finds that ab-stract concepts created by AI mimic human conceptual systems via “algo-rithmic metaphors,” yet lack experiential grounding. Platform algorithms re-structure language dissemination, establishing a “digital register” communi-cation hierarchy, while the technological framework leads to a vocabulary hollowing effect, necessitating a new “algorithm governance” dimension in language planning. The study offers a theoretical framework for human-ma-chine language interaction, suggests AI language ethics policies, and rede-fines traditional language evolution models by proposing a three-stage process: “variation-algorithm screening-platform diffusion.” It extends meme theory, identifying “technological memes” as engineering-driven replications. Practically, it provides strategies for language planning by advocating trans-parency, diversity, and morality as core algorithm planning principles, help-ing to address language alienation, maintain a dynamic balance between innovation and standardization, and support effective communication and the healthy evolution of language in the age of generative AI.
2025-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/123 A Study on the Intervention of Inattentive Behaviors in Children With Moderate Intellectual Disabilities Based on Positive Behavior Support 2025-03-02T01:50:13+00:00 Ziai Liu Yixin Li Xiaodi Xie Hanjie Zhang Mingyu Ye
This study evaluated the use of Positive Behavior Support (PBS) based on Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) to reduce inattentive behaviors in children with moderate intellectual disabilities. Employing a multiple-base-line design, three 15-year-old male students from a special education school in Shandong participated in individualized interventions lasting 9–15 sessions. Strategies included classroom environment adjustments, behavior cues, differential reinforcement, and timely behavioral interruptions. Results showed substantial reductions in inattentive behaviors across all three cas-es, with Case J showing the greatest improvement (from 11.78 to 2.45 in-stances per session), followed by Cases W and G, with decreases of 6.44 and 4.97, respectively. All cases had a Tau effect size of 1.00, reflecting strong intervention effectiveness. Participants also displayed enhanced fo-cus, self-regulation, and quality of life, as reported by teachers and parents. However, limitations such as short intervention durations and limited parent involvement were noted, pointing to the need for extended interventions and stronger home-school partnerships. Overall, PBS proved to be an effective and flexible approach to improving classroom behaviors and social adapt-ability in children with moderate intellectual disabilities.
2025-02-28T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/116 Narrative Features of Planting Design 2025-01-27T05:24:46+00:00 Manqing Yao
The narrative character of planting design is the fun of landscapes, telling stories and morals in a unique way in planning. When the landscape stimulates our multiple senses, it even has a great impact on our behavior, our views, and our psychological perception of the world. The way of landscaping tells stories or conveys ideas from four planting design angles, including the symbolic meanings of plants, dynamic storytelling, philosophical design and contrast with Eden. It reflects the importance of a successful landscape and public values, and enhance the interaction with public emotion. This paper provides a detailed exposition of methods and specific scenarios for creating narrative landscapes through the use of plants, drawing on examples from classical gardens in various countries, including Europe, England, and China. This study aims to organize and summarize the cultural symbols present in planting design, clarify the expressive techniques of narrative landscapes through plant design, and provide theoretical insights for interpreting and understanding classical gardens, as well as practical support for future landscape design endeavors.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/97 British Colonial Strategy in Malaya in the 19th Century: Deliberate Global Strategy or Geopolitical Necessity? 2025-03-02T01:53:09+00:00 Yutong Wen Chenglin Liu
The Industrial Revolution drove Britain’s globally strategy in the 19th centu-ry, which saw the Malay Peninsula’s geographic location and resources as key. The process of British colonization in Malaysia was as much the result of deliberate strategic planning as it was of geopolitical in rivalry and flexibil-ity. Britain progressively increased its authority over the Malacca Straits by managing tin and rubber assets. And it would strengthen her hold over the area. Britain first focused mostly on the security of shipping in the Indian Ocean. It did not see the strategic value of the Malay Peninsula until rivalry with other powers increased. Adopting “informal imperialism” and “sub-im-perialism,” Britain indirectly controlled the Malay area by means of trade control and co-operation with local the rich and famous. And its lower the cost of conflict but also causing social divisions and laying the seeds of later ethnic conflicts and independence movements. This paper takes the eastern region of Hubei Province as a case study and, based on extensive fieldwork, investigates the main reasons behind the accelerated revival of ancestral halls in contemporary China and the social issues concealed behind this phenomenon. The key issues identified include: (1) the serious tendency for excessive comparison in the construction of ancestral halls and the negative impact this has on social values; (2) the deep penetration of grassroots administrative power into the construction of ancestral halls and the potential corruption problems arising from this involvement; (3) the compulsory fundraising for ancestral hall construction and the heavy economic burden it places on the impoverished rural population; in addition, the challenges related to the transformation of the shared nature of existing ancestral halls, the vulgarization of aesthetics in newly built ancestral halls, and the current divergence between the revival of ancestral halls and the mainstream national values. Finally, the paper offers recommendations on these issues, aimed at actively responding to the current exploration and practice of rural revitalization in China, particularly the goal of "inheriting, developing, and enhancing agricultural civilization, and promoting the prosperity of rural culture."
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/79 The Influence of Environmental Regulations on the Phenomenon of Greenwashing 2025-01-27T05:24:47+00:00 Zhang Shuaihua
Implementing environmental regulations plays a pivotal role in addressing pollution and attaining sustainable development. However, the role of environmental regulations in mitigating greenwashing remains insufficiently explored. Based on Chinese listed companies from 2010 to 2021, this paper investigates the effect of environmental regulation on the greenwashing of heavily polluting enterprises and the internal mechanism of such regulation. The research findings indicate that the execution of environmental regulatory policies can curb corporate greenwashing, with differences in individual enterprises and the level of local environmental governance. Further, we also reveal that environmental regulation can further strengthen the disincentives to corporate greenwashing by promoting corporate green innovation and local market-oriented. This paper further presents theoretical and empirical evidence to support effective government management of corporate greenwashing and promoting green economy development.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/78 Research On the Choice of Structural Models for the Codification of China’s Environmental Law 2025-01-27T05:24:47+00:00 Yuhang Wu
On April 21, 2021, the announcement of the 2021 Legislative Work Plan of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress reignited discussions about the codification of environmental law. Against this backdrop, this paper adopts a comparative analysis method to examine the structural models of codification in the Swedish Environmental Code, the French Environmental Code, and the German Environmental Code (Expert Committee Draft, 1997). It aims to provide a reference for selecting a structural model for the codification of China’s environmental law. In choosing the specific mode of environmental law codification, it is recommended to adopt the structural models used in Sweden, France, and Germany while retaining certain standalone laws. The codification should follow a logical structure of “General Provisions–Specific Provisions–Supplementary Provisions” and be organized with a hierarchical layout of “Parts–Chapters–Sections.”
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/77 Adaptation and Challenges: The State, Impact, and Corporate Implementation of Global ESG Disclosure Regulations 2025-01-27T05:24:48+00:00 Yuhang Wu
In the current global context, the disclosure of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) information has emerged as a crucial factor influencing investment decisions and corporate evaluations. This has led to strengthened regulatory requirements aimed at enhancing the transparency and quality of disclosures. This paper thoroughly investigates the regulatory frameworks for ESG information disclosure and the challenges faced by companies in adapting to these regulatory demands. It analyzes how regulatory bodies formulate and implement policies, as well as how companies respond to these policy requirements. Employing a comparative research approach, this paper analyzes the ESG information disclosure regulatory policies across different countries and regions, uncovering the key elements of effective regulatory practices and the differences between regions. Additionally, through case studies, this paper deeply explores the main challenges companies face in complying with ESG information disclosure requirements, such as the complexity of data collection and processing, inconsistencies in performance evaluation standards, and the issues related to the cost and benefit assessment of disclosure. By systematically analyzing the interaction between regulatory frameworks and corporate practices, this paper aims to guide companies in effectively dealing with the complexities of global ESG information disclosure, while also providing references for regulatory bodies to develop more effective policies.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/71 The impact of industrial structure upgrading on regional coordination development in the digital era: evidence from China 2025-01-27T05:24:48+00:00 Yunjia Yu Qian Zhang
This paper investigates how industrial structure upgrading influences regional coordination in the digital era, using data from 253 Chinese prefecture-level cities between 2011 and 2021. The research employs a double machine learning model and constructs a Gini coefficient to quantify intracity disparities. Findings indicate that industrial structure upgrading reduces regional disparities overall, with stronger effects during the rapid digital economy development phase. However, in the initial phase of digital infrastructure construction, upgrading intensified disparities due to uneven access to resources and technologies. The analysis also reveals heterogeneity: cities with advanced industrial structures benefit from enhanced coordination, while those with underdeveloped structures face widened disparities. Digitalization moderates these effects by fostering innovation diffusion and improving resource distribution. This paper offers insights into how digitalization and industrial upgrading interact to influence regional coordination, providing a basis for tailored policies to achieve balanced and sustainable urban development.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/54 The Scars of Memory, the Trap of Desire, and the Mirror of Class: An Interpretation of Social Allegories in Bong Joon-ho's Films 2025-01-27T05:24:49+00:00 Ying Ma
Bong Joon-ho's films are renowned for their profound revelation and critique of South Korean social realities. This paper interprets the social allegories in Bong Joon-ho's films, such as Parasite, Memories of Murder, Snowpiercer, The Host, and Mother, through the lens of the scars of memory, the trap of desire, and the mirror of class. The films touch upon the collective "scars of memory" of the Korean people, demonstrating the historical causes and social impact of the "Han" cultural psychology through metaphors and representations of historical traumatic events. Employing Lacan's psychoanalytic theory, this paper analyzes the "trap of desire" – the alienation of characters in the context of capitalism, revealing the anxiety and loss of the lower class in the pursuit of the "ideal self." Furthermore, these films construct a "mirror of class" that reflects the solidification of social hierarchy and the disparity between the rich and the poor in South Korean society by depicting the living conditions of different classes. Bong Joon-ho's cinematic allegories are not only artistic representations of social issues in South Korea but also provide profound insights into understanding the universal problems of class conflict, human alienation, and historical memory in contemporary society.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/53 Identification and Optimization of Attractive Territorial Spaces in Gansu Province Based on the Supply-Demand Ratio of Ecosystem Services 2025-01-27T05:24:49+00:00 Yaqi Wang
Crafting high-quality Attractive Territorial Spaces(ATS) has become an essential approach to enhancing the quality of national territorial spaces at present. Previous studies have offered multidimensional identification methods but have overlooked the intrinsic connections between ATS and factors such as ecology, culture, and society. This study proposes a systematic method for identifying and optimizing ATS, which includes assessing the supply-demand ratio of ecosystem services(ES), interactive detection of driving factors, identification of ATS, landscape pattern analysis, and a matrix of optimization strategies for ATS. The results indicate: (1) There is a significant spatial imbalance between the supply and demand of ES in Gansu Province, with the western region serving as a crucial water source and carbon sink area, while the eastern region stands out in the provision of cultural services. The supply-demand ratio analysis reveals an imbalance in key services such as water resources and soil conservation(SC), particularly in densely populated and rapidly developing economic regions where the demand is urgent. (2) Geographic detector analysis reveals that Normalized Difference Vegetation Index(NDVI) and population(POP) are the two main driving factors affecting the spatial differences in ES, with NDVI having a high explanatory power for the spatial heterogeneity of carbon sequestration(CS) services, and POP significantly influencing recreation(RE) and aesthetic landscapes(AL) services. (3) Landscape pattern analysis shows that urban spaces exhibit fragmentation; agricultural spaces, though concentrated, lack landscape diversity and connectivity; ecological spaces, despite having larger core areas, have weak connectivity between patches and a high degree of fragmentation. Based on the above analysis, this study has constructed the Attractiveness Territorial Index (ATI), combined with the main functional areas of Gansu Province's territorial space planning, identified ATS, and proposed targeted optimization strategies for territorial spaces. The framework for identifying ATS established in this study effectively implements the requirements of higher-level planning, clarifies guidance and control requirements, and is conducive to enhancing the value and quality of territorial spaces, as well as providing systematic and holistic protection for elements of attractiveness.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/52 Catering and Distortion: The Construction of the "Republic of China" Concept in Cultural and Museum Venues under the Influence of Consumerism 2024-12-16T15:57:18+00:00 Mingyang Shen
This paper focuses on the negative impacts of consumerism and market orientation on the construction of the Republic of China exhibition area within cultural and museum venues. There are many factors that influence citizens' willingness to participate, often pointing to some form of "space", but few studies have explored the relevance of different forms of space to the willingness to participate in democracy. This study focuses on the grassroots space of NPC deputies' contact stations in China and utilizes data collected from 185 contact stations for empirical analysis. The study adopts the physical, interactional and digital spaces identified in established research and operationalizes their variable indicators, on the basis of which an analytical framework is constructed and hypotheses are formulated. The empirical results show that there is a significant positive correlation between the improvement of the three types of spatial conditions and the willingness to participate in grassroots democracy. It has been proved that promoting grassroots democratic participation willingness through spatial constructs has a positive performance. This study aims to make an empirical test to support the spatial examination of democratic participation and provide an understanding of the spatial construction of grassroots democracy in China.
2024-12-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/39 The Mediating Role of Teacher Support in The Relationship between Marginalization and Academic Performance among Migrant Children in China--Evidence from CEPS Data 2025-01-27T05:24:49+00:00 LINYI ZHANG Ziquan FENG
Migrant children are a special group in the process of China's economic development. They not only linger on the edge of unequal educational opportunities but are also marginalized in schools. Using data from the China Education Panel Survey (CEPS), a nationally representative sample of junior high school students, the study attempts to examine the relationship between migrant children's marginalization and academic achievement and check the moderating role of teacher support in this relationship. The results show that positive teacher support has a negative moderating effect on the marginalization of migrant children. When teachers take a positive and supportive attitude toward socially marginalized students, the marginalized children are more integrated within their peer groups over time. The more actively teachers support migrant children, the more they can reduce the probability of migrant children being marginalized. Teacher support also has a positive impact on migrant children's social behavioral development and academic performance to a large extent. The positive attitude of teachers enables migrant children, a marginalized group, to have stronger school adaptability and a more positive development direction of social behavior and academic performance.
2025-01-27T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/33 From Pioneering to Splendor: A Reexamination of the Development of Northeast China's Cinema in the Context of Sino-Soviet Friendship at the Beginning of the Cold War 2024-12-16T07:49:00+00:00 Jin Shan
The Soviet Union, a former world power, dominated the Warsaw Pact of the Soviet Union, which is now a thing of the past. However, in the early years of its founding, the Soviet Union actually played the dual roles of "big brother" and "guide" in the economic development of China. This led to the Cold War starting in the late 1940s, when the United States, as the leader of the Western camp, and the Soviet Union, as the leader of the communist camp, had very different and serious ideologies. The impact was greatly influenced by both the evolution of art and societal development. The responsibilities of both "big brother" and "guide" had a profound impact on our nation's social, artistic, and economic advancement. In addition to taking the initiative to build cordial diplomatic ties with China at the start of the Cold War, the Soviet Union also supported socialism with China. Everyone could see how the Soviet Union was building and developing Chinese cinema during this time. China also swiftly introduced new developments in cinematic art and technology, realized development and exchanges at the cultural level, and accepted the work guidance of Soviet experts and sophisticated Soviet equipment.
2024-12-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/32 Comparison of Marx's and Karp's philosophical views - What is technology? 2024-12-16T07:49:00+00:00 Chengyu Feng
The essence of technology is at the same time the essence of man. Ernst Karp and Karl Marx are great philosophers in the same period, who successively formed a distinctive philosophy of technology and view of technology in their understanding of the concept of technology in terms of technological ontology, technological evolution and society, culture and state. On the basis of analyzing and comparing the differences between Karp's and Marx's views on technology in terms of technological ontology and technological epistemology, this paper follows the dialectical way of thinking and finds that Karp's view of technology is narrow in terms of the existence of isolation and mechanicity. Marx's view of technology, on the other hand, explains the relationship between society, technology, and productive forces in a discourse led by holistic thinking, and ultimately puts human beings in the link of purpose and power of technological development for dynamic examination.
2024-12-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science https://press.jandoo.ac/journal/index.php/jgtss/article/view/31 Cultural Intermediaries and Cosmopolitans: A Netnographic Study of Chinese Travel Bloggers 2024-12-16T07:49:00+00:00 Yongzi Liu Maria Isabel Romero Ruiz
This article analyzes the symbolic power and locations of travel bloggers in the global cultural economy by linking the theories and approaches of cultural intermediaries, cosmopolitanism and tourist studies. This study comprehensively examines provincial-level sports policy documents from 2010 to 2024, utilizing the Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) model and social network analysis to investigate policy evolution and thematic shifts over time. Despite significant progress, the sports industry faces structural imbalances, limited innovation capacity, and the need for tailored policy responses. Methodologically, this research applies advanced text analysis techniques to identify core themes and developmental trajectories in policy content, analyzing data from 103 official documents across various policy stages. The results reveal that: (1) policy themes are decreasing in number but are increasingly specialized and focused; (2) policy emphasis has shifted from broad coordination to precise, field-specific improvements, aligning with evolving economic and social needs; (3) policy evolution follows multiple trajectories, incorporating aspects such as industry planning, financial incentives, market expansion, service optimization, and collaborative innovation. These insights contribute to the discourse on high-quality development in China’s sports industry and highlight strategic policy recommendations, such as refining planning directions, deepening policy content, and standardizing industry practices.
2024-12-16T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Journal of Global Trends in Social Science
