The International Journal of Clinical Medicine and Pharmacology (IJCMP) is a peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal that seeks to advance interdisciplinary research and foster innovative insights into the fields of clinical medicine, pharmacology, and healthcare sciences. The journal provides a global platform for high-quality research contributions, critical analyses, and case studies addressing contemporary challenges and opportunities in clinical and pharmaceutical sciences.
Aims and Scope
IJCMP publishes original research articles, reviews, and case studies across a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Clinical Medicine and Surgery : Internal medicine, surgical innovations, and therapeutic advancements.
- Pharmacology and Drug Development : Pharmacokinetics, drug interactions, clinical trials, and biopharmaceuticals.
- Nursing and Allied Health Sciences : Patient care, nursing practices, and rehabilitation.
- Mental Health and Psychiatry : Psychopharmacology, behavioral health, and psychological interventions.
- Public Health and Epidemiology : Disease prevention, health promotion, and global health challenges.
- Biomedical Sciences and Emerging Technologies : Gene therapy, AI in medicine, and precision medicine.

IJCMP particularly values submissions that bridge disciplines, provide global perspectives, and propose innovative frameworks for improving healthcare outcomes.
Article Types
IJCMP welcomes a variety of submission types:
- Full-Length Research Articles :
- Length: 4,000–8,000 words.
- Content: Original research presenting new findings, methodologies, or theoretical advancements.
- Review Articles :
- Length: 4,000–8,000 words.
- Content: Comprehensive summaries of existing research, identifying knowledge gaps and future directions.
- Case Reports :
- Length: 1,500–3,000 words.
- Content: Detailed descriptions of rare, novel, or illustrative clinical cases.
- Short Communications :
- Length: 1,500–2,000 words.
- Content: Concise reports of preliminary findings or innovative ideas.
- Special Issue Proposals :
- Proposals should address timely and impactful themes in clinical medicine or pharmacology.
- Consist of 6–10 articles, to be reviewed and approved by the editorial team.
Note: Translated articles originally published in a language other than English will not be considered.
Peer Review
IJCMP employs a rigorous double-anonymized peer review process to ensure fairness and objectivity.
Submission Requirements
To facilitate the review process, authors must submit:
- Title Page :
- Article title.
- Author names and affiliations.
- Corresponding author’s contact details (email and postal address).
- Acknowledgments and declaration of interest statement.
- Anonymized Manuscript :
- Main body of the article, including references, figures, and tables.
- Ensure that no identifying information is included in the manuscript.
Open Access Policy
IJCMP is committed to providing unrestricted access to all published content under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0) , which allows:
- Free access for readers worldwide.
- Unrestricted reuse with proper attribution to the original authors.
Authors retain copyright of their work, benefitting from enhanced visibility, citation, and impact.
Ethics and Policies
IJCMP upholds the highest standards of academic integrity as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) .
Authorship
All listed authors must:
- Contribute substantially to the research or analysis.
- Approve the final manuscript before submission.
- Be accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the work.
Requests for changes to authorship after submission are subject to approval and must include written consent from all authors.
Declaration of Interests
Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest, including financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence the research.
Generative AI Use
Authors must declare any use of generative AI tools in manuscript preparation. AI cannot be credited as an author.
Example:
"During the preparation of this manuscript, the authors used [TOOL NAME] to improve language clarity. The authors take full responsibility for the content of the published article."
Manuscript Preparation
File Format
Submit manuscripts in editable formats (.doc, .docx, or LaTeX). PDFs are not acceptable for the main text.
Abstract and Keywords
- Abstract: Up to 250 words, summarizing the purpose, methods, findings, and conclusions.
- Keywords: 3–7 keywords for indexing purposes.
Figures and Tables
- Figures must be submitted as separate high-resolution files (.TIFF, .JPG, or .PNG).
- Tables must be editable text, not images.
- All figures and tables should be numbered consecutively and cited in the text.
References
- Follow APA 7th Edition citation style.
- Use DOIs where available.
- Arrange references alphabetically and then chronologically.
Supplementary Materials
Supplementary files (e.g., datasets, videos) must be cited in the manuscript and uploaded during submission.
Submission Checklist
Before submitting, ensure the following:
- The manuscript adheres to IJCMP formatting guidelines.
- All files, including figures and supplementary materials, are uploaded.
- All authors have approved the final version.
- A declaration of interest statement is included.
Article Processing Charges (APCs)
IJCMP applies an APC to support open-access publishing. Authors may inquire about waivers or discounts during submission.
